Greetings From Iron Valley

Man, did I pick a great winter not to go south for golf this year. The most snow fall in February on record. If you're like me, you can't wait to get started. Unfortunately, Iron Valley is still covered in snow but we are hoping to be open by the 15th of this month. Our sister course, Blue Mountain in Fredericksburg, will be open this weekend so if you're looking to play give them a call (717-865-4401). If you're not ready to play you might want to stop in at their Proshop. We're making room for our Spring inventory and all three of our courses will be selling last year's merchandise at cost or less.

Over the winter we've changed web sites. We had a great relationship with our old provider but we needed something that provided our customers faster and more detailed information. Please take a minute to check it out.

We have two tournaments coming up. First, our very popular "Dutchman's Challenge" on April 17. this is a 36-hole event that we share with our good neighbor, Fairview. On our web site you'll find a link to print an application. On May 15, we'll host the first annual "Armed Forces Scramble". We plan on hosting this event every Armed Forces Day to honor our servicemen and women who served our country. Check our web site for an application.

We still have a few "Show Special Certificates". For those individuals who are not familiar with this program. We offer a special for a $129 that is good for a foursome with cart Monday thru Friday and Weekends after 1 P.M. Play must be completed by May 31, 2010. We sell a limited number of these certificates so don't hesitate to give us a call.
